At the Rockhouse, we have a solution to your party blues. We offer you a hassle-free kids party that includes indoor rock-climbing and the option of a catered pizza meal, plus we will clean up the mess.

Our trained staff will happily host your party. This includes belaying (holding the rope for the climber) and encouraging your kids to climb as well as entertaining them with fun games and activities.

The National Maritime Museum is a great place to hold your child’s birthday party. It is really different and exciting and will appeal to all age groups. We recommend that children are 5 and upwards as this is a 2 hour party and the highlight is a tour of the destroyer. What are the activities?

Games at the party

This is a small selection of games we may play during a birthday party. Depending on the age they will differ.

Pass the parcel (only for groups 10 and under), the lolly relay, the snake game (edible), chocolate game, musical statues, egg and spoon, pin the teeth on the dragon or unicorn, sandy girl, hokey pokey, musical bumps, balloon on string, rain/thunder/lighting, musical spots, limbo, sleeping child, duck duck goose, ring on a string.

We don't do prizes per game as there are no tears in ‘Rainbowland’; we have the children enjoy rainbow lucky-dip at the end of the party.

If it's a themed party, the structure of the games will suit the theme for parties like pirate, fairy, princess, wizards and disco.

Wizzy World is one of the most exciting venues in the North Shore where themed rooms create a marvellous party atmosphere!
