Spring Flower Pictures

A beautiful way to preserve some of the spring flowers from your garden.

What You Need:

- Iron
- Small flowers and leaves
- Waxed or grease proof paper

What To Do:

Go for a walk in your garden with your children and pick some flowers and leaves to make spring flower pictures.  Small flat flowers work best for this project.

On a piece of waxed paper help your children arrange the flowers as artistically as they can.  Then place another sheet of waxed paper on the top and iron carefully with a cool iron.  The wax in the paper will bind together and seal the flowers inside.

Draw around the outside of the flowers with a thick marking pen - perhaps a heart or flower shape and your children can cut it out.

They look great Blu-Tacked on windows or use to decorate the front of their own gifts cards.
