Grass Heads

What You Need:

- Old tights
- Plastic container, eg. margarine, yoghurt
- Grass seeds
- Potting mix
- Stickers or felt pens
 

What To Do:

Cut off one leg of the tights and hold it open while your children measure in at least three tablespoons of grass seeds.  Then add three to four cups of potting mix.  Tie the stocking securely above the potting mix and form into a round head, and balance in the container.

Your children will enjoy making a face on the grass head and perhaps adding a bow or bow tie and buttons to the container.

Keep the grass head damp and in a few days it will begin to grow a head of lovely bright green hair.
